weck canning jars

I made the mistake of stopping at kitchen supply store the Gourmet Warehouse the other day and I ended up coming home with these two boxes. How could I pass up Weck jars at a reasonable price?

Now what should I use them for first?!

Crabapple jelly! It's still my favourite. Or you can make a little tiny bit of pomegranate jelly just using store-bought juice and then you only need to use a couple jars.

I'm afraid these jars are just too big for most canning projects, but I am currently beautifying my pantry and collection of grains and lentils with them.
