What do you do when you accidentally leave your camera on the wrong setting all day and your pictures come out all grainy without you noticing? You adjust the colour until it looks like it was on purpose.

On New Years day Joseph and I had a tasty West-Indian brunch with friends then took a long walk to the downtown east-side to Crab Park to enjoy the crisp sea air. It was chilly and there was frost on the rocks and driftwood, but the sun was out and it was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen in a long time. It was a very calm and pleasant day -- a great way to start the new year.

The woman to the left was patiently catching crabs with a cage attached to a string hanging off the railing.
