Parc de la Ciutadella

Elizabeth and I ventured over to Parc de la Ciutadella, in Barcelona, near the end of our time together. It was grey and drizzling, but I found it to be strikingly beautiful. La Cascada Fountain, constructed by Josep Fontsere (and assisted by a young Antoni Gaudi) was the stunning centerpiece to the park. I returned to the park after Elizabeth was well on her journey back to Canada, to go to the zoo.

La Cascada, so run down, covered in algae and dirt, and pollution, but still so unique, it was just breathtaking.
