malaga, spain

Being able to show off our arms and legs after having come from Morocco was one of the best parts of Malaga. There were a lot of things in Malaga that we didn't enjoy (hostile hostel workers, finding out the hard way that the water was undrinkable, getting flashed in the park) but we really did enjoy seeing the sights and getting to walk around in the sun.

Most of these photos are at the Alcazaba, the old Moorish fort, and Gibralfaro Castle, which sits atop the highest point and overlooks the city and the water. It was a serious hike up, especially not being used to the hot (for us) weather.

Mimosa grows on trees.
It was nice to be able to get up close and smell this. I could smell it growing all along the highways in Morocco, but unfortunately never saw any in the towns.
